It’s been a very busy couple of weeks for us. We arrived in Acton, Ca on March 4th and Wednesday I spent time visiting my son Terry who now works at the same YMCA as I did before we left. Friday, we had a wonderful lunch with one of the Board Members whom I worked with. Friday evening daughter Stacy and family arrived for the weekend. Ciera and Ramey stayed with us, and Stacy and husband Jason spent the weekend with friends. Saturday evening, was spent at son Terry’s house where we celebrated St Patrick’s Day ( a little early ).
Sunday was spent visiting with old neighbors and good friends, Claire and Glenn. They lived across the street for me when my divorce was happening and they were very close with my kids. It was a great night reminiscing.
Wednesday March 12th was Ciera’s 20th birthday and we drove up to Bakersfield for her party. Finally got to meet her boyfriend Robin. He’s a wonderful guy and we are very happy for her.
Yesterday was dinner with Ed’s brother Jim and wife Debbie.
It’s been a quick 2 weeks and we will be returning to do it all again in another 3 weeks!!

Wow...you two sure packed in a ton in two weeks. What a wonderful time making memories with family and friends.
ReplyDeleteNot much better than good times with friends and family. Glad you get some rest time between? :)
ReplyDeleteYou're returning it to do it again in 3 weeks? Now tell us about that. You were pretty busy this time. I'm wondering what you'll be putting in the next visit.
ReplyDeleteGood times with good friends and family. Not much can beat that.
