Veteran's Day in Coffeyville, Kansas

Happy Veteran's day to all who have served and are currently serving our great country. We are still in Coffeyville, Kansas. It's a very small town. Here is a picture of how small town middle America celebrates our veteran's.

It's a "Grand Ole Flag" and this is quite a sight down Main Street. About 4 miles of flags, 10 feet apart.

We are surviving working at Amazon. We have started working 11 hour days. We start at 5 am and work until 4:30 pm. Weather has been good so far. We found we had some visitors who like my rag drawer. Mice!!! Ed went to the store and got some DeCon and the other morning there was an almost dead mouse on my floor!! Don't know if that was the only one we had, are keeping the DeCon out just in case, but no more dead ones yet! He hasn't pulled the drawers to check behind them lately. Hopefully, I can get him to so that later today. I don't do mice, he doesn't do spiders so for us it works!!

  1. We had ants! How do you get rid of ants? If you bomb, all the detectors go off. You have to wait until the weather gets cold. Or, a few at a time.
